First time to Budapest,Hungary, Austria or Germany.
We received the most wonderfully warm welcome from everyone. Our cabin was smallish but surprisingly comfortable with tons of drawers and hanging space.Casual, comfortable attire is encouraged for both ship and shore on Viking Longships.
Dinner on board was great, a buffet with lots of variety and quality, constantly replenishing, like breakfast. The food on a small ship is excellent. Dining room is open seating, so we met interesting couples from around the English-speaking world.
Very small but good for a night worth cabins.
Remarkable how beautiful it is Esocolmo entry, worth up early and not to be missed.
We've already booked another Viking River Cruise for next summer on one of the new long ships and we feel confident that we will have another wonderful vacation!
